We're hiring
Support Apprentice
Start your IT career properly: a funded apprenticeship with real tickets, real clients and engineers who'll actually teach you.
About the role
This is a genuine first step into IT, not a tea-making exercise. You'll join our service desk as an apprentice, working towards a recognised IT qualification while learning the trade hands-on: triaging tickets, setting up laptops and accounts, helping real users at real businesses, and shadowing senior engineers on the interesting stuff.
No experience is required. We care about curiosity, reliability and how you treat people; we'll teach you the technology. Plenty of our industry's best engineers started exactly here.
What you'll be doing
- Answer and triage service desk calls and tickets with a friendly, professional manner
- Build and configure laptops, desktops and mobile devices for client onboarding
- Administer user accounts, mailboxes and permissions under supervision
- Document fixes and keep client records accurate
- Study towards your apprenticeship qualification with dedicated time each week
What we're looking for
- A real interest in technology and a willingness to learn
- Good written and spoken communication, and patience with people
- Reliability, punctuality and pride in doing things properly
- GCSEs in English and Maths (grade 4/C or above) or equivalent
- Eligibility for a UK apprenticeship
Bonus points for
- Any self-taught tinkering: home labs, PC building, scripting, gaming servers
- Customer service experience of any kind
- An IT-related school or college course
What you'll get
20 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising to 22 after your first full year), paid certifications and training, hybrid working where the role allows, team events, and a clear progression path.
